Terms of Use and End-User Licence Agreement
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These terms are between you and Crestmoor Bookkeeping Ltd. ("Crestmoor", "we", "us"). They cover your use of the crestmoorbookkeeping.ca website and the Crestmoor client app at app.crestmoorbookkeeping.ca (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to these terms. Your bookkeeping service itself (plan, price, minimum term) is covered by your separate service agreement with us. If the two conflict, your service agreement wins.
1. Licence
We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own business while you are a Crestmoor client. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or try to break into the App, or use it for anyone else's business.
2. Your account
The App is by invitation only. Keep your sign-in and two-step verification device safe, and tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for activity under your account.
3. Connecting QuickBooks Online, Jobber and Housecall Pro
- You can connect your QuickBooks Online account through Intuit's own sign-in, and your Jobber or Housecall Pro account through their sign-in or a read-only key you create.
- By connecting, you confirm you're allowed to connect that account and you authorize us to access it to provide our service.
- We only read your Jobber and Housecall Pro data. In QuickBooks, we only make changes as part of the bookkeeping you've hired us to do.
- Your use of QuickBooks Online, Jobber and Housecall Pro is still governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their services being available.
- You can disconnect any time, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Your data
Your data belongs to you. Your books stay in your own QuickBooks account. You give us permission to use your data only to provide our service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. What the App is for
The App shows you summaries and reports about your business. It is not tax, legal or investment advice. Tell us promptly if anything looks wrong so we can fix it.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the App available and secure, but it may sometimes be down for maintenance or problems outside our control. We may update or change the App. If we stop offering it, we'll give clients reasonable notice.
7. Ending access
Your access ends when your service with us ends, or if you break these terms. You can stop using the App at any time. After access ends, we handle your data as set out in our Privacy Policy.
8. Warranty disclaimer
Except as stated in your service agreement, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.
9. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits) from using the App, and our total liability for the App is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Saskatchewan.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and email clients about big changes. Using the App after a change means you accept it.
